Discovering your church’s ministry opportunities has never been easier. MissionInsite provides instant access to community information for your church via The MI System. You’ll get desktop, web-based access to demographic data for a variety of geographic levels. Click the link for an Introduction to MissionInsite. As one of the member churches of the Presbytery of Mississippi you have free access to MissionInsite (www.MissionInsite.com) and the demographics around your church - after you register and log-in. This free service is provided to you and your church by New Church Development. Before getting registered, you are encouraged to explore the documents in the Resource area for the Local Church – especially the Tutorial , Introduction to MissionInsite, Local Church User Guide and How To Create A Report.　

To register as a first time user of MissionInsite:
  • Go to http://server.missioninsite.com/registration.aspx
  • Enter the Agency Account Number
  • Select your city and then your church from the drop-down menus
  • Follow the directions to register and create your own username and password.
  • After you register the first time, you can log-in on the home page.

*It is recommended that you DO NOT check the box stating that you do not want to receive email correspondence from MissionInsite. The activation email that you need to complete your registration will not come to you if you do!*

  After you complete your registration, you will receive an e-mail from MissionInsite inviting you to "activate" your account. Make sure you check in your spam or junk mail folders and authorize MissionInsite as a trusted source.

  Once you have logged in and activated your account, you are encouraged to click on the "Resources" link you'll find in the deep blue box labeled "Mission Resources for Local Churches." On that page you'll find a Local Church Getting Started Tutorial (HTML and Flash Versions), the MI Local Church User Guide, the Introduction to MissionInsite, How to Create a Report, a QuickInsite Workshop, and the Mosaic Worksheet. Each is intended to help you become a bit more comfortable using the MissionInsite demographic tools to your fullest advantage.

** The Mosaic Worksheet is a tool to use with each of the 60 full Mosaic Type Portraits. Churches are finding that the detail in these reports provides a greater insight into the socio-economic realities of residents living within their communities. This insight assists them in reaching these residents.
